ในกรณีที่เราทำการ Snapshot VM หรือทำการ Backup VM ที่ทำการ Connected iSCSI อยู่ เมื่อเราทำการ Revert Snapshot หรือทำการ Restore VM จะมีผลทำให้ Disk not Access เราจะไม่สามารถทำการ Recovery ได้ ต้องทำการ Format อย่างเดียว

Configuration

• ทำการ Backup VM โดยใช้ Veeam Agent ซึ่งจะไม่สามารถใช้ Veeam Backup and Replication ได้ เพราะมันไม่รู้จัก Volume นั้น และไม่สามารถทำการ Clone VM บน VMware เพื่อ Backup ด้วยเหตุผลเดียวกัน

ใช้เทคนิค Virtual Raw Device Mapping ( vRDM ) ซึ่งจะทำให้สามารถทำการ Snapshot VM หรือทำการ Backup VM บน VMware ได้
